On 18 May 2007 a 40th Anniversary Party was held at playgroup for its past and present pupils, anyone involved with previous fundraising or the setting up of the playgroup, previous staff and helpers, and generally anybody who had been involved with the playgroup since it opened.  The event was well attended and all those who came along said they had a great time reminiscing.  Cine film which had been found in the old shed had been put onto DVD and this was played on the evening and old photographs, plans and other documents were on display.
